I will not see the #thunderebolts and #fantasticfour movies in theaters. There are no Black people with prominent roles. Sarah Niles is playing someone named Lynne in the Fantastic Four movie and Wendell Pierce is playing a Congressman. From what I can tell, there are no prominent roles and after seeing #sinners I don’t need to further tolerate our marginalization. Since #trump supporter #bobiger took over #disney, there is a noted effort to minimize Black stories, including the Captain America movie with Anthony Mackie where they basically removed anything Black about his storyline and Isaiah, the original recipient of the super soldier serum. It is sad that so much attention has been placed on #michelleobama not attending the inauguration of #trump. She was not still the First Lady at that time. Jill Biden was First Lady at that time. The part that is never brought up is that Donald Trump did not attend the inauguration of President Biden and #mikepence had to conduct the ceremony. It is frustrating to watch networks continue to platform #tomhoman as if what he and the #trump administration is doing is normal and legal. #joescarborough failed to adequately challenge Homan and did not let the other panelists ask questions. He also gave Homan several outs, which was problematic and threw in Homan working under Obama, which was misleading at best. I think the #fightingoligarchytour ultimately is a good thing in terms of its messaging and energizing people but I’m not seeing much in the form of organizing beyond the rallies. On the website that is a subdivision of the Bernie Sanders page, I’m not seeing any directions to help people organize and I’m not seeing any potential financial assistance to other democrats. I’m just not seeing it being worthy of all the hype that it’s getting. It’s not about crowd size. If it was then #kamalaharris would be President right now.
