He said that Robinson had a #transgender partner but that means nothing at this point of the investigation. From #lauraloomer to #nickfuentes and his #groypers, many people in the republican #maga world hated #charliekirk too. Lastly, #spencercox is scared to call on #trump to help call for change, knowing full well that Trump said clearly that he doesn’t give a damn about bringing people together. Governor Spencer Cox is not the leader for this moment. #utah

Regardless of who killed #charliekirk, there are deep issues about this killing and other violence that America must address instead of spewing more vitriol and targeting each other. #donaldtrump is not the leader for this moment. He is still spewing hate. Furthermore, the killer is apparently not trans, not gay, and people don’t know his political affiliation because he didn’t vote but he comes from a republican stronghold and they loved guns. We don’t know the politics of the man who shot at #trump. Furthermore, there are many republicans who don’t like fascists too and and pro-lgbtq. We need to get real about the age of these killers, online radicalization, access to guns and so much more. until we do that, this is going to continue.

I believe that we should not be airing the killing of anyone on television or social media. Unfortunately, the media doesn’t feel the same way. There is a serious hypocrisy in the airing of Black death on television. America has a history of airing Black death, even going to back to post cards of lynchings that were mailed by the United States Postal Service. We watched George Floyd get killed for over 9 minutes. When I mentioned children getting killed and having it aired, I was referring to children like Tamir Rice. I share examples of several others in this post. Who is going to take the responsibility for changing this? I hope it will start with you. Don’t post or watch any of it!

I was listening to #deadlinewhitehouse today about the assassination of #charliekirk. One thing she stated is that “violence isn’t politics.” I believe that she is wrong. Violence IS politics in America and we HAVE to confront it. Of course #nicollewallace was making the point that political violence is not acceptable and should never be but it IS acceptable in this country. Republican leaders have made it acceptable and we have to call out the fact that, while there is violence that comes from all sides of the political spectrum, republican LEADERS own the license on calls for political violence and are selective on how they condemn it.

I am still looking for the video from @msnbc but on #morningjoe, Reverend Al Sharpton said that those who commit crimes in Black communities are giving #trump an excuse to send in the National Guard, ICE, and other agents. NO! What Trump is doing is illegal and unconstitutional, period! This type of language is what helped usher in the 1994 Omnibus Crime Bill, which ravaged Black communities. This mindest can’t be allowed to stand!

The think tank entitled the Third Way put out an article sharing the words that democrats should not use if they want to win future elections. Words include LGBTQIA+, incarcerated people, critical theory, safe space, unhoused, body shaming, and more. The Third Way is wrong. The inability for democrats to speak to these issues is one of the reasons that voters stayed home. The base of the democratic party does NOT want social issues and social justice issues to be ignored or even disrespected, especially to sound more “normal.” As you can see from people like #zohranmamdani #jamestalarico and others, democrats are winning on these issues and democrats have won the majority of special elections in this country. Many who run are focusing on issues like affordability of course but many are not running away from these issues and are in fact embracing them. Again, I would like to see the Third Way actually propose the language that SHOULD be used. What do you think?

Today we saw the survivors of the #jeffreyepstein sex trafficking scandal standing strong. We need to stand with them. They spoke to their hurt at what is also happening with #ghislainemaxwell and her kid gloves treatment. We need to stand with them. This was major conspiracy and the names and businesses and politicians and celebrities involved need to all be exposed and held accountable. Justice delayed is justice denied!

The tragic shooting in #minneapolis is yet another opportunity for reflection and inflection in America. Before the identity was confirmed, there were already conversations about mental health. Why aren’t there any conversations about mental health issues for people who commit violence in #washingtondc or other cities? The shooter in Minneapolis didn’t snap. It was all planned. We need to be honest about this in America and acknowledge our hypocrisy so that we can save more lives.
