Priya Saaral LICSW, RPT-S is a first-generation immigrant from India and Singapore who identifies as a neurodivergent person. Her work has been centered on helping young people and parents find their voice and their playful spirit amidst personal and structural adversity, seeking to be seen and to belong. She aims to help all children feel seen and heard as valuable human beings in society, and as agents of change. 

Jaya Ramesh MA LMHC, CCTP is a neurodivergent immigrant. Her passions include creating liberatory healing and learning spaces and working to disentangle from and dismantle systems of oppression. In her private practice she supports BIPOC, neurodivergent people in having more authentic and nourishing relationships.

Priya and Jaya are the authors of Parenting at the Intersections — Raising Neurodivergent Children of Color.

One of Misty’s strongest abilities is working with the students’ families of individuals with developmental disabilities by assisting them in aligning services, as well as assisting families in understanding an individual’s needs. Misty joined the CIP community in 2018 as a Student Advisor, supported the community as Head Student Advisor, and now as Assistant Program Director. 

Misty earned a bachelor’s degree in special education from The University of Memphis in Memphis, Tennessee. Misty has developed this strength through a solid professional history as a special education teacher, Student Advisor, and Head Student Advisor, but also through my undeniable empathy and bond with parents. As Assistant Program Director at CIP, Misty works on the day-to-day operations to provide high quality services to all students and families. She collaborates with each student, staff member, and support team member in order to provide positive outcomes for each student.
