We got the opportunity to have a chat with Lee Klett of The Boys, and the recipient of the inaugural Ambassador Award at the Midwest Country Music Organization award show in April. 

Lee is a great guy and it was and absolute pleasure to have him on the podcast. We talk music and supporting the musicians that make it. His award and what it means to be recognized by your peers. It was so nice to chat with Royce about his career and all the things that come along with it. This was a powerful conversation with Jordan Beem. I really enjoyed digging into the parallels of sports and the music business. Jordan a collegiate athlete as well as singer/songwriter touched on a lot of topics with me and went a lot longer than I think either one of us imagined. 

Looking forward to getting to know this young man as his career continues to take off from the Des Moines area and his home town of Altoona, IA (I didn’t even have to look that up). He is a great guy and stay on his grind in The Scene

Jake Hoffer jumped on the pod before our show May 3 when he filled in on bass for Startz and Endz. It was a great time chatting with the young man and I think hes going to be a big part of The Scene moving forward. He has a degree in sound and he’s active in the music scene in the area. His band The Degenerates can be found at Four Winds Music Fest this year.
