This year the General Effective date for new legislation was September 14th. As you can imagine, with the volume of changes and new laws regarding real estate, the Department has been busy updating processes and procedures.

There have been a lot of changes in Education, and more to come. Join Commissioner Nicolson, Deputy Commissioner Mandy Neat, and Assistant Commissioner Alayna Kowaleski as they discuss the new 1 hour CE classes, assessment criteria for course approvals, updating pre-licensing instructions and a new BMC 3 Property Management course.

The next Education Town Hall event will be October 9th from 2pm to 3pm. You may register to attend in person or virtually at azre.gov. Licensees, instructors, school administrators and the public are invited to attend this free event.

This podcast is designed to bring you information and insight into the world of the Arizona Department of Real Estate. The Department is obligated to comply with the law and with Arizona Administrative code – but how the Department makes decisions and the considerations brought to that decision making, is interesting and necessary to understand since the mission

of the Department is to “protect the public interest through Licensure and Regulation of the real estate profession in Arizona”.

Each Commissioner brings their experience to the Department, and with that, priorities for the goals of the Department during their tenure.
