Ryan R. Sullivan is an entrepreneur who wears many different hats. Ryan studied Business and attempted to work a few 9-5 jobs as an Account Executive, but ultimately his path lead him to pursue his passions. A DJ, Rapper, Podcast Host, and the owner of his podcast startup business called Podcast Principles, Ryan R. Sullivan is never bored. In this episode, Ryan and Marc have a great conversation about the impact Linkedin has had on their lives. They also talk about time management and what it takes to fit all of their priorities into their lives without falling behind. Ryan also discusses what inspired him to take a more entrepreneurial path. He has a great story about why he started Podcast Principles and what he learned from his experience as technical podcast freelancer. Ryan is a great example of the potential a younger entrepreneur has in the 21st Century.

From a young age Eva Payne found a passion by starting a nonprofit geared towards helping kids with HIV/AIDS. While running this organization, Eva kept listening to her intuition and stayed in touch with her thoughts on human nature and everybody’s individual essence. It was this type of awareness and thought to herself and others that prompted Eva to search even deeper within.  Eva decided to take a break from it all and search within herself for more answers. From there, the concepts for her book called The Flow Life Funnel started to pour out of her mind and onto the computer screen. Today she is not only coaching on these concepts, but also happy to speak about them and build upon the concepts she has proven to work and help others.

Jake Doherty might have grown up in Louisiana, but you wouldn’t know it from how much living in Europe has impacted his life. After majoring in European History and entering the working world a passion for theater in addition to his fascination with Europe, Jake was at a crossroads. While becoming a bartender sounded appealing, Jake knew he wanted to reach for something bigger. After serving in the military over in Europe, Jake soon discovered the beauty of his surroundings and decided to call Europe home. This lead to him starting touring agencies geared towards Garmisch, Bavaria, etc. Once the pandemic hit in 2020, Jake and his team also added a Live interactive cooking business to his resume. Marc and Jake talked about the transition to living in Europe and the impact this has had on him professionally and personally.

This week’s episode finds Marc having a discussion with Hayleigh Hayhurst about what it takes to start a podcast and how to maintain it. Hayleigh also tells the story of how she used her technical background and entrepreneurial passion to start her own business. Editing, marketing, and strategy are what Hayleigh focuses on with her clients. She explains why this is and how you can use these three principles to form a strategy and become successful in the podcasting world. Not only is Hayleigh helping others, she is also launching her own podcast. Hayleigh also gave a behind the scenes summary on how she runs her business.

Jessica Malone had a very successful corporate career prior to founding Nacho Average Fro, a company that helps people to declutter their lives. However, great money and benefits wasn’t enough to keep Jessica in the corporate world. This is when she decided to do some soul searching and figure out what was next for her. A book called the “21 day Minimalism Challenge” would up being a life changing discovery for Jessica. Between this book and her own life experiences, Jessica proceeded to start her life decluttering coaching business. 

Don Markland of Accountability Now stopped by for an early morning chat about his long, diverse, and illustrious career and how a successful corporate career lead him to a transition into his own business. One of the foundations of Accountability Now are the “4 C’s. Marc and Don discussed this at length and how they apply to other people as well as Marc’s own life and experiences. Don also talks about the crossroads and many transitions in his career as well as his time as a contributor for Forbes. 

Devin Miller of Miller IP Law stopped by to talk about his passion for patent and trademark law. Devin also shed some light on the process of gaining a patent. Not only that, but Devin also talks about his career path and how he transitioned from an electrical engineering background to getting his license to practice law. Devin also talks about the transition from working for a law firm to having his own practice and a few others businesses along with it. 

Business coach Samantha Morris tells the story of how she used her experience as a co-owner of a spray booth company in Australia to help her start her coaching company. Samantha helps female entrepreneurs to build their businesses and empower them.  Samantha also talks about her experiences in the Australian Navy and how this time in her life impacted her and helped her to understand what she wanted out of life in the future. 

The Season 3 premiere of Marc My Words features the inspiring story of ICF Certified Life Coach Graciela Moore. Graciela tells the story of how she went from growing up within a very artistic/entrepreneurial upbringing in Puerto Rico to applying the that background in order to become an entrepreneurial success story in America. Graciela Came to America in order to continue working while going to school, but when she become a stay at home mom things changed. From there, Graciela connected with people by using her awesome communication skills and ability to connect with people on social media in order to grow her brand and business. Graciela tells the story of what shaped her life and how she got to where she is today.

After studying history and politics in college, Christian Lefer determined that he wanted to do work that was bigger than himself. After developing a process that helped him in his own path, Christian decided to start a business where he commits his life to helping others to start a non profit and help them to accomplish their own dreams of helping others.
