I met the amazingly inspirational 86 year old Howard Riley in the Lake Placid Olympic Gold Ice arena, by matter of chance.
Howard and I connected when I was photographing the arena after Olympic hopeful, Savannah Graybill insisted I go there to FEEL the energy.

Not only did I feel the energy, but I had the dumb luck to run into Howard who had been there LIVE during that 1980 Olympic Gold Medal game.

Howard recounted that moment of the winning gold medal that made Olympic History. Check that out on Making Life Brighter on Facebook this wed.
