For all of the ability and potential Leticia Francis felt she had, navigating the corporate system in order to get ahead and reach the level of success she felt worthy of was quite a challenge. After years of hard work and determination, Leticia decided that it wasn’t worth it to keep putting her energy into a system that wasn’t working for her. As a result, Leticia not only became an entrepreneur, but also became an advocate for black females and anybody else who wants to start their own business and reach their full potential just like she has in her own business.

Benjamin Fincher has worked many jobs and taken many classes in order to get to where he is today. Much like Marc, Benjamin spent a lot of years searching for ways that he could make an impact on others and reach his highest potential in life. After doing a variety of jobs and taking many mentor oriented classes, including his mission in Peru, Benjamin finally decided to start his mentoring business where he helps others in the same way that his mentors and many life experiences have helped him.

Chris Wilson has made a career out of helping others to love and appreciate music the same way he does.Chris transitioned from being a student at Berkeley College of Music and a professional musician to being an entrepreneur. He has done that by providing lessons, writing books, and opening up an academy that actually provides an outlet for all different types of artistic abilities. In addition to this, Chris also uses his many years of experience as an entrepreneur to teach others through his coaching business.

This week’s episode with Phil Better is a fun and frank discussion about Phil’s journey into podcasting. Marc and Phil both had similar “aha” moments where they decided that starting a podcast geared around speaking to entrepreneurs was a good way for them to enter the podcasting business. Phil also tells the story of how he walked away from the corporate world and transitioned into entrepreneurship. Through his story, Marc and Phil both acknowledge the benefits of working from home and walking away from a toxic environment. Phil also talks about burnout, how he overcame it, and how the changes have had a positive impact in his life.

Lorraine Maguire discusses how she overcame several different obstacles throughout her life in order to find the health and balance she was seeking. After a night of binge watching videos on Youtube, Lorraine was inspired to create a vision board. This not only helped Lorraine to gain more discipline with her diet, it also inspired her to transition to the next phase of her life as a Rapid Transformational Therapist. Lorraine explains what this is and how it has shaped her life since the fateful night of binge watching self help videos. Lorraine also gives a good explanation on what hypnosis really is and how it can help us.

Vinny Vineyard and Amber Schultz of Big n Funky Productions stopped by to have a fun, but informative conversation about their career paths, how they wound up working together, and what it truly takes to run your own production company. Vinny has great insight into the inner workings of running your own business from a creative perspective. Their stories are a very important reminder of how our lives can lead us to collaborations and directions we didn’t anticipate on. Although there are a lot of laughs in this episode, there are also some very inspiring messages from Vinny and Amber as they explain how staying true to yourself and blocking out negative opinions from others can lead you to a life that will fulfill you and take you in the direction you want to go in.
