How to Quit and WIN EP5
So often we are told NEVER quit, when in fact quitting could be exactly what you need to WIN! I’m not saying quit your dreams. Keep your dreams. What happens is we get stuck with a plan that is not working. When the plan doesn’t work we have to quit, reassess the plan, modify it, rethink it, change it and go again. When the plan sucks… QUIT. Make a new plan and go for it. Never quit your dreams, but you must QUIT bad plans. It is the plan that is not working, not the dream. Make the plan better and win all your dreams.
There’s always another way. Don’t keep hitting a wall hoping it will break. Look for another way around.
Before Thomas Edison invented the lightbulb, I think he went through thousands of filament designs that just didn’t work. He didn’t force the ones that didn’t work to work. He just tested them, took it as feedback, and then invented another one until he got the one that worked for the light bulb. He quit so many times. However, he didn’t quit the dream. He continued his path to have that light.
For him, that light was his dream. Let your dream be your light. Never quit it. But, be willing to quit things that aren’t serving you on your path, learn from what didn’t work, realign yourself, and continue forward.
