Read moreWhy are we still being taught to ignore our own pain? Talking to Chelsea Leyland, Founder of Looni, made it painfully clear—women’s health has been sidelined for far too long. Endometriosis is as common as diabetes, yet it’s under-researched, misdiagnosed, and dismissed. We’ve been conditioned to believe suffering is just part of the deal. Chelsea is flipping that narrative with Looni, not just by offering real solutions but by building a community where people can finally speak up and be heard. And her epilepsy advocacy? A masterclass in fighting for change. She took control of her own health, found what worked, and is now battling to give others the same access. This is what happens when women refuse to accept the status quo—we push, we demand, and we make change.
In this episode:
- Menstrual health advocacy isn’t just important—it’s a revolution, giving people the power to understand and take control of their own bodies.
- Endometriosis is an autoimmune nightmare affecting 1 in 10 women, yet it takes a staggering 10 years on average to get diagnosed.
- The shame and stigma around menstruation don’t just silence conversations—they delay diagnoses, worsen treatment, and keep people suffering in the dark.
- Breaking myths and pushing for education can be life-changing, turning awareness into early intervention for both menstrual health and epilepsy.
- No one should have to battle conditions like endometriosis, PCOS, or infertility alone—community support isn’t just helpful, it’s essential.

If this conversation with Umindi Francis, Founder & CEO of UFCG, proved anything, it’s that success comes from standing firm—no discounts, no second-guessing, no playing small. She reinforced a truth I live by: if they push back on your price, they’ll push back on everything. Boundaries aren’t just helpful; they’re necessary. Contracts should work for you, not against you. And let’s get one thing straight—networking isn’t optional. It’s the lifeblood of opportunity. But the biggest lesson? You are not limited by titles or expectations. You define your own path, break your own ceilings, and build the career you want—on your terms.
In this episode:

- Tap into expert talent on a fractional basis—grow smarter, not harder.
- Networking is the engine that drives your success.

Read moreWhat’s really keeping women out of investing? It’s not a lack of instincts or resources—it’s the illusion that they don’t belong. My conversation with the Founder and Managing Partner at Neon, Kimmy Scotti, made that crystal clear. The real power move isn’t just making money—it’s understanding the language, the strategy, and the game itself. And Kimmy? She’s rewriting the rules, making sure women aren’t just participants but power players. Her take on being “unreasonable” hit home, too—because real change doesn’t happen by blending in. In this episode, you’ll learn:
- The language of investing, hot to take your power, and never feel like an outsider in a game that was never just for men in suits.
- Why you should invest in what you already love, pay attention to the brands you swear by, and own a piece of something you use, talk about, and watch grow.
- How to be “unreasonable” by challenging norms, trusting your instincts, stepping into decision-making spaces, and refusing to wait for permission.
- Take control of your wealth by learning how to invest, make your own financial decisions, and refuse to let anyone else dictate where your money goes.
- Ways to shift from giving to growing, because while men invest, women donate, and you deserve wealth that works for you.
