AB 213 Live! Being on the Frontlines of HR & Tech with Johnny C. Taylor Jr. and Jed Ayres
Work is changing.
Millions are working from home, while others are looking for work. These are just some of the changes both of our guests deal with every day on the front lines of business.
Johnny C. Taylor, Jr., President and CEO of SHRM (Society for Human Resource Management) joins Jeffrey for the first half of the show to talk about putting the ‘humanity’ in human resources. While there is a lot of turmoil in the working world right now, many companies are doing everything they can to invest in their employees. Johnny says before COVID-19 businesses loved using buzzwords like ‘agility’ and ‘adaptability,’ now they’re forced to turn those words into action.
In the second part of the show, Jeffrey talks to Jed Ayres, the CEO of IGEL Technology. IGEL offers companies of all sizes USB-style drives that gives remote workers secure access to the computer systems they need to do their jobs. Jed took over as CEO of IGEL’s North American Division just days before the pandemic took hold in the U.S. He and Jeffrey talk about how he’s trying to inject direction and positivity into his team during this strange time.
