Throughout his career he has worked with people including Stephen Colbert, Steve Carell, Amy Sedaris, Tina Fey and Amy Poehler. Today, he teaches the tools of improvisation to corporate clients via workshops to bring out the best in teams, so they can be more creative and innovative.

Eleanor Haglund started her entrepreneurial journey while attending Carnegie Mellon University. She wanted to launch an enhanced ebook technology product. She was passionate about it, but the consumers who would buy the product were not. That disappointment showed how failure can be a great learning process.

In her continued business journey, she found other entrepreneurs go through the same failures and learning processes. Those experiences led Eleanor to start Aspire360, a network for startup CEOs. Through her company, Eleanor offers her network of contacts and resources to help other startup CEOs fundraise and find product-market fit.

Aspire360 has built a network of serial entrepreneur coaches that have raised more than half a billion dollars. Some of the venture capital partners include Greycroft, Cowboy, and Inspired Capital.

In our conversation, Eleanor shares her story and insights, including:

    ·        Letting go of the enhanced ebook tech dream.

    ·        Putting product out early and getting feedback.

    ·        What people are saying about MBAs or not having degrees.

    ·        The resources of Aspire360.

    ·        How entrepreneurial cultures vary across the US.

Life was fine for Julia Brodska as a young child in her native Ukraine. Then the ’89 war with Russia broke out, her parents lost everything, and they tried to start a new life in Australia. By age 10 she lost her dad to a stroke, her mom struggled, and Julia’s life went down a slippery slope throughout her teens and early twenties.

Therapists and mentors helped Julia transform her life, shed pounds, credit card and car loan debt. She overcame limiting beliefs and self-doubt.

Today, Julia runs two successful businesses and helps adults and corporate clients overcome obstacles she shares in her Best Life-ing book and programs.

In our inspirational conversation, Julia shares:

    ·        How overcoming weight problems led to a successful business.

    ·        The transformational experience of writing her book.

    ·        Perfectionism does not exist.

    ·        The seven Best Life-ing principles to live your dream life.

    ·        The weekly review and reflection time.

    ·        Embrace challenges!

Tom Marcoux, the Spoken Word Strategist and Executive Coach teaches people specific tools so one can handle any speaking situation with ease and confidence.

Tom won a special award at the Emmy Awards. Tom produced and directed a feature film that went to the Cannes Film market. We discussed:

    ·        When perfectionism isn’t working-use recovery methods, criteria for excellence, and the shift from fear.

    ·        Connected audiences are forgiving.

    ·        Giving yourself space during your presentation.

    ·        Techniques for introverts.

    ·        Convincing investors to fund you.

    His advice includes:
