[PRESS RELEASE] Exploring the Dominance of Our Thoughts

New Episode of Best Seller TV features author Chris Heller discussing why we should always be committed but unattached to any outcome

New York, NY, June 7, 2022 — Best Seller TV, the only show dedicated to covering today’s best-selling business books on C-Suite TV,  is announcing a new episode, featuring Chris Heller, author of “Dominant Thoughts: Things Grow Where Our Minds Go.”

Heller wrote this book with Greg S. Reid after both of them were guests on a podcast. Soon after the interview, they decided to collaborate on this book – which took about a year to complete. Heller describes the book as a “business parable” inspired by books that left an indelible mark on him throughout life. The book features two main characters, Nick and John – one is a successful business owner who sold his business and the second character is a younger person he decides to mentor.

Each book chapter has a theme woven into the story – each with a dominant thought. That same thought is what Heller wanted readers to come away with after each chapter. He adds that while the stories and ideas in the book are very personal, the story itself is fictional.

Heller wrote the book geared towards the up-and-coming entrepreneurs. Those in the 22-31 age group and for anyone starting out. However, it is also relatable to anyone currently in business, sales, or is an entrepreneur. Everyone, regardless of career status, will get value out of the book.

The book also makes a clear distinction between two concepts: commitment and attachment. Heller says we should always be committed to the outcome but not attached to it. He adds, “When we get attached, it impacts you emotionally in the actions you take, or don’t take.” Being a committed real estate professional helped him be a more effective salesperson because he had no emotional attachment to the outcome.

All episodes of Best Seller TV air on C-Suite TV and are hosted by TV personality, Taryn Winter Brill.

Best-selling author, speaker, and former Fortune 100 CMO Jeffrey Hayzlett created Best Seller TV to give top-tier business authors a forum for sharing thought-provoking insights, in-depth business analysis, and their compelling personal narratives.

“Chris’s approach to business is fresh and novel. Through his very relatable parables, he’s able to explain concepts that we’ve all heard of before and give them a twist so they resonate in a different light,” said Hayzlett said. “I think it’s essential for every business person to be reminded every so often of the importance of going back to basics to catch our breath, regroup, and keep on growing the business. The way Chris weaves these lessons throughout the stories is downright genius.”
