C-Suite TV’s Executive Perspectives Live announced its tenth season with new episodes in January; the first episode features Jerry Storch, Founder and CEO, Storch Advisors

Executive Perspectives Live, one of the top online business shows on C-Suite TV, is announcing its tenth season with new episodes for the month of January. The first episode features Jerry Storch, Founder and CEO, Storch Advisors.

Host Jeffrey Hayzlett talked to Storch about the current state of the retail industry and what the future holds for the industry as a whole. Hayzlett starts by asking Storch about his thoughts on whether the retail industry is dead, to which Storch said, “It’s not dead. It’s actually growing quite rapidly.” He adds that 2018 was a “fantastic year” for retail but feels they’re currently going through a revolution.

Storch says that in order to understand what’s going on in the industry, one has to understand the economics of the business. He also points out the three categories retailers need to have in order to win in business: 1) Own their own content, 2) Be a low-cost producer, and 3) Be an arms merchant. Storch states that businesses need to have a strong omnichannel model, be very good at customer and data relationships and have scale in order to be able to compete in a crowded marketplace.

All episodes of Executive Perspectives Live are hosted by Jeffrey Hayzlett and can be seen on C-Suite TV.

Best-selling author, speaker, and former Fortune 100 CMO Jeffrey Hayzlett created C-Suite TV to give top-tier business executives a forum for sharing thought-provoking insights, in-depth business analysis, and their compelling personal narratives.

“Excited to start the new year and our tenth season of Executive Perspectives Live with an awesome and highly accomplished executive,” Hayzlett said. “Our first guest, Jerry Storch, is a former executive at name-retail brands like Target and Toys R Us. This was a fun interview to do because Jerry is very passionate about the industry and the direction it’s taking in order to revolutionize itself to continue meeting the demands of doing business in the 21st century.”
