Robert BareaCorporate Diversity & Inclusion Leader, Marsh & McLennan Companies, Inc
Rob is responsible for leading the greater Diversity & Inclusion mission for Marsh & McLennan Companies by completing project/program work, owning communications, analyzing impact, coordinating with internal and external partners and keeping the business relevant and compliant in terms of market and regulatory happenings.
Prior to joining MMC, Rob was the Engagement Program Leader for Mercer, supporting US Market and Office leadership teams in both colleague and client engagement with a focus in client retention. Rob worked also worked closely with Business Resource Group Leaders at all levels ensuring programs and initiatives were in alignment with the business and people strategies and ultimately fostered an inclusive environment for all.
Rob is a retiree from the United States Army and New Jersey Army National Guard where he served for 20+ years. There he gained invaluable experience in Human Resources, Leadership Development and Project Management. Rob’s final assignment was as the principal staff officer for the Recruiting & Retention Command, overseeing all aspects of human resources for the organization as well as spearheading Diversity initiatives and programs as a contributing member to the Diversity Council for the State (NJ).
