Margaret Molloy is the global chief marketing officer at leading branding firm Siegel+Gale, where she is responsible for all marketing, communications, and business development initiatives globally. A native of Ireland, she is regarded as one of the most influential global marketing leaders and consistently appears on top CMO lists, including Forbes’ top CMOs on Twitter.
She also serves as the New York Chair of The Marketing Society. Founded in 1959, the organization’s mission is to inspire bolder marketing leadership within its international membership. For the last three years, Margaret has hosted the Society’s flagship Brave Conference in New York City.
With two decades of experience across every marketing function, Margaret has led high-performance teams in both companies and agencies. She served as SVP Marketing at Gerson Lehrman Group, the leading professional services network and led marketing organizations at Siebel Systems (now Oracle).
Margaret earned her MBA from Harvard Business School and received her undergraduate degrees from the University of Ulster, Northern Ireland and La Universidad de Valladolid.
Throughout her career Margaret has received several accolades, including 2017 Marketer of the Year by The Drum; Top 50 Power Women and Top 100 Irish Americans in Business in 2016 and 2017 by Irish America; and the 2018 Creativity and Arts awards in Fashion and Design by Irish Central.
Molloy has also been published in Harvard Business Review, Fast Company and is a frequent contributor to LinkedIn and Forbes.
In addition to providing counsel to other brand leaders, Margaret is also the creator of the #WearingIrish brand, a groundbreaking platform that promotes awareness of Irish fashion design.
