Deborah A. Bussière is a global Marketing, Business Development and Operations C-level Executive. Following a successful 15-year career on Wall Street and 10 exceptional years in consulting and professional services, Deborah is currently advising technology startups.

Deborah enjoys working in an entrepreneurial environment where she can roll up her sleeves in a leadership position and truly make a difference – both to the company mission and to the bottom line.

Deborah has most recently served as interim Chief Marketing Officer and/or Senior Advisor for several high growth companies including Grayscale Investments (bitcoin and blockchain), Rugged Communications (rural internet connectivity) and Cyrus Innovation (multiplatform mobile apps). Previously, Deborah served as Chief Marketing Officer for EY, fulfilling a key role in directing strategy, vision and execution for all marketing, communications, digital/social media, PR and client events functions across the Americas and driving the elements of market leadership: brand, relationships, reputation and market share. Between September 2003 and January 2011, Deborah held several, simultaneous, senior roles at EY, including leading the Global Financial Services marketing team and acting as the Americas Financial Services Business Development Operations Leader, where she worked closely with the teams from Industry, Service Lines, Accounts and Business Development. Prior to joining EY, Deborah was a Co-Founder and Director of Marketing and Sales for UBS‘s start-up Alternative Investments Group, reporting to the firm’s Chairman and CEO. In this role, she is credited with building the Business Development and Marketing functions from the ground up and contributing to a period of significant growth in assets under management, from $0 to $3B in four years (the industry leader). Previously, she spent nearly 10 years with Morgan Stanley in a variety of senior management, sales and marketing leadership roles within the Managed Futures and Precious Metals division.

Deborah earned a B.S. in Business/Marketing from Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business, which included a semester at the National University of Singapore. She also completed one year towards her M.B.A. in Finance at New York University’s Stern School of Business and has taken Executive Leadership courses at Columbia University.
