Angie Tymofichuk, Deputy Assistant Secretary of the Air Force for Logistics and Product Support as she presents:
“Current Efforts in Supply Chain Resiliency”
Angie L. Tymofichuk is Deputy Assistant Secretary of the Air Force for Logistics and Product Support, Office of the Assistant Secretary of the Air Force for Acquisition, Headquarters U.S. Air Force, Pentagon. She is responsible for enterprise oversight of product support, supply chain management, material maintenance and support functions required throughout the life cycle of weapon systems.
In this position she supports the DoD’s Joint Defense Manufacturing Council, Maintenance Executive Steering Committee, represents Air Force interests in industrial base issues with the Office of the Secretary of Defense working groups, and was recently designated as the Air Force’s Sustainment Technology Executive.
On the topic of “Current Efforts in Supply Chain Resiliency” Tymofichuk will focus on the top down and bottom-up approaches to Supply Chain Risk Management currently ongoing within the Air Force. She will discuss actions to address some gaps in the approaches, as well as some opportunities for persistent proactive supply chain resiliency in new acquisitions.
