They continually polish their talent with a capacity to work really hard, help others succeed, and play the game fair and honest. They never lose sight that their purpose is to be kind, generous, and to dare greatly to make the world a better place. These women are doers and risk takers. They face their fears head-on. When they misstep, they pick themselves up and use the lesson to inform their steps forward. Along the way, they are patient with the ebb and flow of life. Many become devoted wives, partners and mothers while still building careers and influence. Jill Griffin is a NYSE independent public board director; board seat strategist; internationally-published, Harvard “Working Knowledge” author; and noted thought-leader on customer loyalty and how to earn a seat on a corporate board.
Since 2003, Jill has served as Board Director for Luby’s/Fuddruckers Restaurants (NYSE: LUB). She chairs the Personnel & Administration committee with oversight for Store Operations, Human Resources, Marketing/Social Media, Information Technology and Management Succession. She serves on the Nominating & Governance Committee and the Compensation Committee.
She has provided oversight on the turnaround of the beloved Luby’s cafeteria brand (NYSE: LUB); acquisition and renewal of the Fuddruckers hamburger brand; development of Luby’s Culinary Services and its launch into health care facilities.

She is a founding member of the National Association of Board Directors (NACD) Texas Tri-Cities Chapter and sits on its Board of Directors. She chaired the Austin Convention & Visitors Bureau for 8 years and served as Trustee for 9 years at the Univ. of South Carolina Moore School of Business. Jill serves on the Austin Advisory Board of San Antonio-based Broadway Bank.
