President of Advanced Solutions & Chief Enterprise Relationship Officer, CenturyLink
As President of Advanced Solutions Group, Gary Gauba is responsible for Advanced Analytics, Big Data, and critical applications, like SAP, transitioning to the cloud where he helps organizations harness their data and use it to identify new growth opportunities, which, in turn, leads to more informed business decisions, more efficient operations, higher profits and happier customers.
As Chief Enterprise Relationship Officer, Gauba is responsible for building strong, trust-based relationships CenturyLink’s top customers. He helps create, organize and facilitate Customer Advisory Boards designed to enable the company to show appreciation, share key strategic initiatives and gather feedback. He is an important voice in strategic partnerships and new technology-based ventures that allow CenturyLink to better meet customer needs.
Gauba has more than 20 years of experience as a senior management executive and advisor. He has played key roles in building sustainable brands and providing direction to organizations around strategic planning, operations, process management, business intelligence, big data, advanced analytics, business development and profitable growth.
Prior to founding Cognilytics and its subsequent acquisition by CenturyLink, Gauba founded and successfully built two organizations; Systech Integrators (acquired by ACS) and Softline (acquired by KPMG). Softline was ranked as the second fastest growing company by Entrepreneur Magazine in 1997. He previously was a Senior Partner at KPMG and also served in the role of Executive Vice President/Chief Operating Officer responsible for the joint venture between KPMG and Qwest – a managed solutions provider of ERP, CRM, BI, Big Data, Decision Science and SCM solutions.
Gauba is a member of the advisory boards of the Stanford Institute for Economic Policy Research and DocuSign. He participated at WISeKey’s Cybersecurity Roundtable at the World Economic Forum. His hobbies include philanthropy, golf, fine wine and food and powerlifting.
