Dr. Marcia Reynolds is fascinated by the brain, especially what triggers feelings of connection, commitment, and possibility. This fascination has led her to develop three areas of expertise: organizational change, coaching, and emotional intelligence. She draws on these areas as she helps leaders have more effective and meaningful conversations. When leaders have powerful conversations that that respect the ideas of a diverse culture, the workplace comes alive with an eagerness to discover what is possible. She has coached and trained leaders in 35 countries and has presented at the Harvard Kennedy School, Cornell University, and Smith College.

Marcia is a true pioneer in the coaching profession. She is a founding member of the International Coach Federation, the 5^th global president, and is back on the ICF Global Board. Currently, she is the Training Director for the Healthcare Coaching Institute at Virginia Tech and teaches at the International Coaching Academy in Moscow and Create China Coaching in Shanghai and Beijing.

Prior to starting her own business, Marcia’s greatest success came from designing the employee development program for a global semiconductor manufacturing company facing bankruptcy. Within three years, the company turned around and became the #1 stock market success in 1993. The success was based on redesigning the organization into cross-functional business units to capture the brilliance and speed of diverse teams.

Marcia’s doctoral degree is in organizational psychology with a research emphasis on the challenges and needs of high-achievers in today’s corporations.
